So….about 4 years after my last post, where are we up to?

Well, we lost Pip to old age, gained 3 border collies and a rescue fox terrier. Livvy’s still going strong, despite a large sarcoma on her knee. Ken’s got cancer, undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy in Limoges. My nephew came on holiday 18months ago, got a job in Limoges and came to live with us.
The gîte still isn’t finished, but the upstairs shower is – the bath still isn’t plumbed in, though, but I have found a tap (which I don’t really like, but as it’s not in situ yet, I’ve still got time to lose it in the general clutter and buy a new one).
We have gained two cats – Smokey and Sooty (Sweep was attacked by Philippe’s Jack Russell and died of fright) who have decimated the mouse population.
The living room and kitchen have been painted, but everywhere else is still work in progress. Since Ken’s been basically out of action for the last 2 1/2 years, most plans have ground to a halt.

I resigned from work and in December also resigned from the register, so now can no longer call myself a pharmacist. Mind you, having seen the size of BNF #74, I’m really not bothered!
